parasol-icon YHIS Summer Camp 2017 is coming!

Started in the summer of 2007, YHIS Summer Camp is a unique full-day Chinese immersion program that builds competency in Chinese language and provides authentic experiences of the Chinese culture. Every day, campers interact with native Chinese speakers, who are artistically talented with rich knowledge of the Chinese culture and traditions. Past campers with or without Chinese language background have left YHIS Summer Camp with a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture and a lot of enthusiasm for the Chinese language.

YHIS Chinese Immersion & Culture Camp is designed for children ages 2.5 to 15. Both beginners and advanced speakers of Chinese are welcome as students are grouped according to both age and language proficiency. We offer an excellent teacher-to-student ratio of 1:7.

The Camp offers a great variety of language- and culture-based activities centered on bi-weekly themes. A team of experienced teachers and enthusiastic camp counselors work with campers to explore the theme through Chinese language arts, hands-on math, science experiments, physical activities such as sports and games, cooking, musical games, and arts and crafts.

It is a fun and natural way to learn Chinese, gain cultural knowledge and useful skills, and make awesome friends! Come and experience the magic of YHIS Summer Camp!
